About Mary
Mary lives in the beautiful county of Derbyshire and has the Peak District and the Staffordshire moorlands to inspire her paintings.  She works from her studio at Banks Mill studios Derby each day and always takes part in the Open Studios Event.

Her style of work is semi abstract with traditional drawings skills underpinning the work. She experiments in her studio with a range of media allowing paints, glazes and inks to float and form patterns. Textures in the form of pastes and gels are added to the work as it progresses. A recent addition is to create images on her iPad and use them for collage work in her semi abstract pictures.

Pricing is sometimes harder than the making bit as I'm sure all artists and makers will agree. This two hour group workshop will give you a formula to take away and help you price your work to achieve maximum profit. We will also show you how to price your work ready for galleries and what questions they will ask.  You will leave with a printed formula and notes.  Requires a small mount of homework prior to the workshop.  Definitely one to get you thinking!

£15 incl  tea/coffee and a printed handout
