Thank You!Our 2017 program has now come to an end and we want to thank all of you for participating and attending all our events this year.
We have #networked #learned and #created in many different locations and met so many talented artists its been a real pleasure.
After two years we feel we are getting somewhere with how we want Purple and Grey to be and we are happy with our plans for next year. We will continue to be Derbyshire Regional coordinators for the SAA and we want to continue supporting new and emerging artists by giving them exhibition space and a place to meet and learn from each other.
One of the most rewarding parts of being Purple and Grey is seeing artists we have helped go on to bigger and better things whether some of those things have been winning competitions, partnering up with big materials companies, solo exhibitions and sales, or just venturing into new styles of work.
We have never claimed to know it all but we have enough experience to have been able to point artists in new directions and give them the inspiration to JUST DO IT! Sometimes all it takes is a little chat to a third party to kick you off!
Since July we have been plotting a program of workshops art meets and visits to venues for 2018 and we are excited to announce that we have a fabulous new brochure printed locally in Lumsdale. All our dates and details are on there for you to keep throughout the year, we are looking forward to networking at Deda and Harley Gallery as well as our guest workshops and regular art group meets.
We will be using this and our blog as our main communication in 2018 so follow us via email and keep an eye out for it in your in boxes! The next one details the first of our Lunch and Learn workshops so stay tuned!
So we hope you have a lovely holiday period and we shall see you back in the new year!
Merry Christmas and A Happy New Year!
